How long will the lashes last?

This is always complicated to answer and funny enough my most dreaded questions hahaha. You would have thought that by now I would have found an easy answer that would not leave me feeling like sighing as I resign myself to repeating the following long explanation that will leave you no closer to the answer you were hoping for.

The answer to this short question is a little confusing when you start out with extensions. To get a better idea I want to start at the beginning and give you a better scope of why this is so challenging to answer.

To start, the amount of lashes each person has differs vaslty and can range anywhere from 20 lashes per eye to 120. In general our natural lashes fall out at a natural rate of between 2 to 5 lashes per eye per day. So after 1 week you would have lost around 21 lashes per eye. After 2 weeks around 42 lashes and at the 3 week mark you are looking at about 63 PER EYE.

Now, consider that your natural lashes are sitting in various stages of growth. (Picture from Pinterest, had no reference)

As you can see. From the surface, there is no way to tell at which stage which of the lashes are so I can't plan to lash only the anagen stage lashes. This means that sometimes you will lose lashes in strange patterns. Sometimes you might not lose any for 2 weeks and then suddenly you seem to lose half.

Now add in the seasons. It would appear that just like animals we seem to shed our lashes at a faster rate during summer verses winter.

To complicate things, we tend to touch our eyes more without realising it when it is Autumn of Spring due to allergies, this can also affect the lifespan of your lashes.

Then to complicate matters even more, your skins natural oil composition plans a huge roll in how long the glue might take to deteriorate. Some peoples lashes can last for 2 months while others need a fill every 2 weeks.

Lifestyle also plays a roll for some people, sweating it up at the gym seems to affect some people while it doesn't others.

See why this is such an impossible question to answer? and then we havent even brought up hormones and medicine.

Can you see me crying just thinking about explaining why I can't give you an answer that could be useful?
